A new partnership between Kentucky Institute for Torah Education (KITE) & Jewish Family & Career Services (JFCS)
Join your friends and other Jewish women (ages 12 and up) as we get together to make fresh delicious Challah for Shabbos! This is for experienced bakers, as well as those who are totally new to the Challah game. Enjoy a great time socializing and learning to braid dough, ending with your home filled with the delicious smell of freshly baked Challah!
The TWIST: Instead of taking home four Challahs to be baked, one will be left behind to be baked by KITE. JFCS volunteers of the Doris L. and Theodore B. Meyers Shabbos Friends Program will take the fresh Challahs to their monthly visits at assisted living and nursing facilities to share a bit of Sabbath delight with the Jewish residents living there.
