This is a call to any and all who are sober, sober-curious, or anyone considering a booze-free or booze-reduced lifestyle. If this is you, you may be seeking connection and camaraderie with other folks on the path. The choice to bring awareness to your use of alcohol can be one of the biggest and best, and yet it can sometimes feel isolating. Let’s connect over tea, uplifting conversation, meditation, and high vibes!
This monthly meet-up + meditation will offer you a space to share, listen, relate, and connect to both others and yourself. Completely open space will be held; in this space we hold no expectation or judgment of your own unique and perhaps shifting relationship to alcohol. This is simply a place to gather with others who may be considering or reconsidering the role of alcohol in their lives. We will build this community and format together—with the intention of creating a self-led community with a rotating facilitator-lite. Attendees will be invited to facilitate when they feel called, simply holding the space or offering their choice of a more specific aspect of sobriety/curiousity for discussion. Each gathering will include a 10-15 minute meditation. No meditation experience necessary!
Meditations may include:
Potential discussion topics:
Our unique relationships to alcohol
Role of alcohol in our lives
Grieving old habits/lifestyles
Challenges with abstinence
Talking with others about our choices
Health + Wellness
Spiritual practices to support us
And all of your considerations!
No sign-up necessary; just show up!
Donation-based. All donations go to supporting the space/community.
This meet-up is founded on the premise that being alcohol-free/reduced is not necessarily a burden or requirement, but rather a beautiful choice to support your best health, vitality, and highest self!
We will meet on the third Friday of each month.
Please share with anyone who may be interested.
