SAVE THE DATES: June 16 — 24, 2018
On June 20 each year, the world honors and recognizes World Refugee Day. As part of the celebration in Louisville this year, KRM introduces a new festival, the World Refugee Week Festival.
The festival is a culmination of an arts program, 'We Create: Artists and Refugees Celebrate Making Louisville Home.' We Create brings together artists in an exploration and community-wide celebration of refugee stories. Artists across multiple disciplines are in the process of creating artwork inspired by KRM storytellers.
The festival in June includes a few pop-up events around the city and a mainstage production. At these events, the We Create artists and KRM Live talent will share their work with the community. *Please note: this Facebook event will be updated with the exact dates and times of the events in June.
Stay tuned for more details!
