Are you just getting started in your yoga practice? Or maybe you're a seasoned yogi who wants to focus on the basics and foundational concepts of yoga?
Join us for this four-week series, where the format will be a bit different than our other classes. Each class will include a bit of explanation about a concept or element of the yoga practice, as well as detailed, step-by-step instructions through each individual posture.
This is not a flowing class, so please come with questions. You can come to one, or all, in the series.
No special pass required. It's $13 per class for drop-ins, or use your regular multi-class or unlimited package. New students are eligible for their first 60 days of unlimited classes for $45.
While not required, you can save your spot at isyoga.me/schedule. Find the class you'd like to attend, and enter your name and email address to register. If you register more than 24 hours in advance, you'll receive a confirmation and reminder email, and you can add the class to your personal calendar.
Week 1 focus: What is yoga? What are the different types of classes offered? Learn how to set your intention, and begin to explore linking the breath to movements.
Week 2 focus: What is alignment? You'll learn how to take up space on your mat, and begin to explore PERSONAL alignment as we move through basic postures.
Week 3 focus: What is mindfulness? Learn how to begin to focus your mind as you move through each posture.
Week 4 focus: How can yoga benefit you off the mat? Continue refining basic postures and see how your yoga practice can make an impact in your life off the mat.
