The Music Series features performances on the first Thursday of the month. Guests are invited to bring a lunch and enjoy a special performance inside the Mayor's Gallery on the fourth floor of Metro Hall. Music starts at 12:10 p.m.with a brief interview between the band and Mayor Fischer. Enjoy free samples of pizza from Birracibo.
About The Free Soul Effect:
Consisting of core members Ryan Marsh and Kojin Tashiro, the Free Soul Effect is an R&B/Pop production group from New Albany, IN. After meeting in high school, Kojin and Ryan immediately started writing, producing, recording, and engineering their original music. Using their classically trained background, they have recorded and produced music from many genres including Classical, Jazz, Pop etc. After four years of writing and working on perfecting their sound, the duo released their first EP in Tokyo, Japan titled KT/RM. With credits in production and writing around the world, they currently base their activities in Louisville, KY where they continue to write and record their own music as well as work with other local artists. The duo is also part of the production team NBDI along with producers Jon Wooand NES, doing production for artists such as Alessia Cara and Sebastian Kole.
