Maker13 is excited to present a Meet, Greet & Make with Gail Wilson from My Repurposed Life.
Gail is the owner and author of the hugely popular DIY blog, MyRepurposedLife.com. Gail is a teacher at heart and relishes the chance not to show off her projects, but to help others find their inner handywoman, step-by-step. She has been featured in countless DYI magazines and websites, including Women's Day, Design*Sponge, and Apartment Therapy. Gail is a longtime influencer of Gorrilla Glue and Homeright. With a tribe of more than 45,000 followers, Gail is inspiring a new generation of DIYers to pick up some tools and get to work!
Gail is partnering with Maker13 for an opportunity to meet and learn along side her to make one of her iconic projects- a repurposed stool.
The event will begin with an open house and talk from Gail. Light refreshments will be served. Gail will then teach a project class, where participants can make a stool from either reclaimed lumber for a rustic feel or new lumber that can be painted and stenciled.
The open house portion is free for all who want the opportunity to learn from Gail and her experiences.
The project class is $35 and you will leave with an assembled and stained or painted stool like the one pictured above. Stencils with a phrase of your choice may be purchased for an additional fee.
Come with a desire to learn from one of the best leaders in the industry and discover how you can master the art of DIY!
