Beargrass Creek Greenway winds its way from Cherokee Park through Irish Hill and toward the Ohio River. We will be clipping and hand pulling Porcelain Vine from the young trees near the entrance to the park and also complete a bit of litter patrol. Meet at the old Jim Porter's parking lot (2345 Lexington Rd, 40206).
We will provide gloves and tools, water and fun. Volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather and type of work. Long pants, socks and tennis shoes or boots are recommended (no open-toed shoes). A long sleeve shirt is recommended when clipping. Don't forget sunscreen, bugspray, snacks and a waterbottle.
