Nobody knows more about the history of bourbon than Michael Veach. Mr. Veach has written and contributed to five books on the subject, is the former Bourbon Historian of the Filson Historical Society and has been inducted into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame.
We will be gathering in the hotel atrium where the bar will be specially stocked for us with a variety of bourbons we've selected for this event, including Angels Envy, Basil Hayden, Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Evan Williams, Four Roses, Jim Beam, Knob Creek, Maker's Mark and Woodford — all priced from $6 to $9.
We'll then convene to the adjacent Turfway function room to hear Mike tell his fascinating tales of bourbon history while we snack on ham asparagus rolls, Jim Beam meatballs and vegetable egg rolls. And of course we'll have awesome door prizes as always.
Thank you to our good friends at Tour Kentucky Bourbon and JACO Limousine for sponsoring this event!
The Bourbon Brotherhood is a monthly gathering of men who enjoy bourbon and camaraderie. Is this politically correct? Probably not.
